Spiritual Guidance
Under the Spiritual Guidance of His Eminence Allama Arshadul Quadri
Qaid-e-Ahle Sunnat Allama Arshadul Quadri was born in 1923 at Sayyad Pura, a village in the district of Balia, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father, Abduhu Abdul Lateef, was a disciple of Shah Abdul Aleem Asi Ghazipuri and a sincere lover of Shaikh Abdul Quadir Jilani, Baghdad. He belongs to an educated family. Several of his close and distant relatives were known for their academic excellence, community service, and religious advancements, like Shaikh Allama Azeemullah, Shaikh Allama Ghulam Mohiuddin, Shaikh Allama Muhammad Yahya, Faizul Arfeen Allama Ghulam Asi Pia, etc.
His Eminence got his early education in a primary school at Syed Pura. Sometime later, Shaikh Abduhu Abdul Lateef directed him to go to Kolkata, where his uncle, Shaikh Allama Azeemullah, had been imparting Islamic education in the hearts of Muslim students. As it is recorded, he started to learn the Persian Language. However, while he was studying Gulsitan and Boostan, a widely appreciated series of Persian literary books in Islamic educational institutions in India, his beloved mother died. So, he rushed to his birthplace, Sayyed Pura. During this saddened phase of life, his father decided to move with his family members to Dhanbad, a city in eastern India.
His father, Abduhu Abdul Lateef, opened a shop on the outskirts of Dhanbad and asked his beloved son, Allama Arshadul Quadri, to help him. At this point, his educational advancement has stopped completely.
After a few years, he decided to join his elder brother, Faizul Arfeen Allama Ghulam Asi Pia, who had been studying in Madrasa Subhania, a well-known Islamic School in Allahabad. He helped his younger brother in seeking Islamic education with him. However, Al Jamia-tul-Ashrafia, a centrally located Islamic school, had been gaining popularity for its strong academic program and better dorm facility under the supervision of Hafiz-e-Millat Allama Abdul Aziz in Mubarkpur. So, Faizul Arfeen decided to enroll his younger brother in it, which proved to be the major breakthrough in carving the personality of His Eminence Allama Arshadul Quadri.
His Eminence has completed the designated curriculum of Al Jamia-tul-Ashrafia in almost eight years and graduated in 1944. After his graduation, he travelled to Nagpur, a metropolitan city in the southern area of India, and started an evening school for Islamic Education, which attracted teenage Muslims who had been working during the day and hiding their sincere aspirations for seeking Islamic education.
However, soon, with the guidance of his mentor and teacher, Hafiz-e-Millat Allama Abdul Aziz, he moved to Jamshepur, where he laid the foundation stone of a great educational movement, Madrasa Faizul Oloom, which played a significant role in encouraging millions of Muslims to seek Islamic education alongside contemporary knowledge.
His Eminence Allama Arshadul Quadri’s personality was multi-dimensional. In another word, you may say that Allah, the Exalted He is bestowed upon him various qualities in a single person and every single quality was in its top level, as he was a stylish writer, motivational speaker, staunch debater, far-sighting thinker, though provoking philosopher, successful convenor of country level conferences, hard working community activist, and a founder of several Madaris, schools and Masjid around the world.
In this short introduction to his personality, it is not possible to discuss every single aspect of his qualities in detail. Therefore, a brief list of his top achievements is being enumerated here.
A. Writing Contribution
He is considered one of the top stylist writers of the Urdu Language in the sub-continent. His way of picturing the events in words is unique, attractive, and utterly beautiful. Along with it, his way of criticizing and figuring out the weak corners of the opponents is being widely appreciated because of its balanced approach, logical grounds, and beautiful presentation.
Recently, all his writings have been recompiled and published by his son, Allama Dr. Ghulam Zarquani, in 27 volumes that consist of more than 6000 pages.

B. Educational Institutions in India
Without a mere exaggeration, it is a matter of fact that enumerating every single institution that is founded by him is not possible at all. The reason goes to his way of action and participation. People frequently witness that he was invited to address the religious gatherings in a place. The next day, he used to ask the organizers if there was any Islamic institution in this area. If the answer comes negatively, then he discusses the importance and necessity of it. Promptly, he asks to have a meeting of active members of the Muslim community around the place and encourages them to start looking for a piece of land for establishing the Religious Institution. Along with it, he used to offer his financial help and encourage them to go ahead.
After the start of the Madrasa, he used to visit it in order to set it up and make it run smoothly. Then, he rarely goes to see it. Interestingly, his office has no record of every single Madrasa. Therefore, we can only mention some of them.
